Farmhouse Biscuits

Nelson in Lancashire has been home to Farmhouse Biscuits since 1978, and up to 300 people work at the Brook Street bakery. It started in 1962 at Higher Oaklands Farm, where Philip and Dorothy McIvor took eggs and chickens by van to Blackburn Market. Dorothy suggested baking biscuits too, and their mothers Lillian and Mary helped.
