Farmhouse Biscuits Shortbread Rings

Shortbread Rings are ring-shaped sweet biscuits in a 200g pack, made from wheat flour, vegetable oils and sugar. Farmhouse Biscuits bake them in Great Harwood, Lancashire, a family firm that began in a farmhouse kitchen in 1962 and still works to its own recipes and traditional methods.

The recipe is plain: fortified wheat flour, sustainable palm and rapeseed oils, sugar and a raising agent, with a little salt and flavouring. There is no butter, which makes these lighter and crisper than a butter shortbread, and it is why the producer can list them as suitable for vegans. They describe the rings as sweet and crumbly, and almost too beautiful to eat, with a ridged ring shape that looks well on a plate.

Put them out with afternoon tea alongside a pot of Tregothnan English Breakfast, or with a cup of Little's Creamy Caramel coffee for something sweeter. They are a good hamper filler with a jar of Single Variety Co. Raspberry Preserve, and children like them as they are.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the affected item. Please keep all packaging until we've reviewed the issue.
