Orders & Delivery
When will my order arrive?
During our launch period, please allow 2–4 working days for dispatch. Once dispatched, most UK orders arrive within 1–2 working days by tracked courier. Delivery is £6.95 for orders under £60, and free on all orders over £60. Full details are on our Delivery & Returns page.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Not yet. We currently ship within the United Kingdom only. Sign up to our newsletter and we'll let you know the moment international delivery opens.
What are your Christmas cut-off dates?
We publish Christmas dispatch dates each November on our home page and Delivery & Returns page. As a guide, last orders for guaranteed pre-Christmas delivery are usually around 19 December, but please check nearer the time.
Can I send a hamper as a gift, with a message?
Yes. At checkout you'll see a gift message field. We hand-write your message on a card tucked inside the parcel, and we never include a price-marked invoice in gift orders.
Can I send to a different address from my billing address?
Of course. Enter your billing address as normal, then use the "deliver to a different address" option at checkout.
Hampers & Products
Can I see exactly what's in each hamper?
Yes. Every hamper page lists its contents in full, with the maker behind each item where applicable. Occasionally we substitute a like-for-like product if a small producer runs short; we'll always match value and style, and never introduce alcohol where none was ordered or a materially different allergen.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Allergens are listed on individual product pages. We can build bespoke vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free hampers. Email us at info@madeinengland.com with what you'd like and we'll put something together.
How long do hampers keep?
Best-before dates are printed on each item. Most pantry goods keep for several months; cheese and fresh items are clearly marked and should be enjoyed sooner.
Are your products really made in England?
That's the whole point. Every item we sell is sourced from a producer in England, and we say where on each product page. Read more on our Our Approach page.
Wine, Spirits & Age Verification
How do you verify age for alcohol?
Orders containing wine or spirits are age-verified at checkout. Our couriers also operate Challenge 25 on delivery and may ask for valid photographic proof of age.
What happens if no adult is in to receive an alcohol delivery?
The courier will leave a card and reattempt, or hold the parcel for collection. They cannot leave alcohol with neighbours or in safe places, or with anyone who cannot provide satisfactory proof of age.
Returns & Refunds
Something arrived damaged — what do I do?
Email orders@madeinengland.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the packaging and the affected item. Please keep all packaging until we've reviewed it. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. This doesn't affect your statutory rights for faulty goods, which last well beyond 48 hours.
Can I return a hamper if I've changed my mind?
Hampers are assembled to order and contain perishable goods, so we can't accept them back for a change of mind. If anything is faulty or not as described, you're fully covered.
How long do refunds take?
Once we've received and inspected your return, refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.
Account & Ordering
Do I need an account to order?
No. You can check out as a guest. Creating an account just makes it quicker next time and lets you see your order history.
I haven't received my confirmation email — what should I do?
First, check your spam folder. If it's still missing 48 hours after ordering, email orders@madeinengland.com with the name and date and we'll find it for you.

Do you offer corporate gifting or bulk orders?
