Terms of Service

These terms set out the basis on which we sell to you. They apply to every order placed through madeinengland.com. By placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by Made In England Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16951076). Our registered office is The Gallery, Kings Wharf, The Quay, Exeter, Devon, EX2 4AN. Where these terms refer to "we", "us" or "our", we mean Made In England Group Ltd.

2. Placing an order

When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. We'll send a confirmation email acknowledging receipt — this is not yet acceptance of your order. A contract is formed only when we email to confirm dispatch.

We reserve the right to decline an order, for example where stock is unavailable, where we suspect fraud, or where we cannot verify age for restricted items.

Pricing and product information

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. We take care with product descriptions and images, but small variations in colour, weight or accompanying contents may occur — particularly with hampers, where seasonal availability shapes what's inside.

If we discover a pricing error after you've placed an order, we'll contact you before dispatch and give you the choice to proceed at the correct price or cancel.

3. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. We accept the major card schemes and other payment methods displayed at checkout. We do not store your card details.

4. Delivery and returns

Delivery timescales, costs and our returns policy are set out in full on our Delivery & Returns page. Those terms form part of this agreement.

5. Wine, spirits and age-restricted items

By law, we cannot sell alcohol to anyone under 18. Any order including wine or spirits is age-verified at checkout through AgeChecked, a UK-certified service. By placing such an order you confirm you are over 18 and that an adult will be present to receive the parcel.

We operate a Challenge 25 policy. Couriers may refuse delivery if the recipient appears under 25 and cannot produce valid ID.

6. Hampers and personalised goods

Hampers and bespoke items are assembled to order. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, perishable goods and personalised goods are exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel. This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty or not as described.

7. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under English law. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, images, logos, the Made In England name and brand — belongs to us or our licensors. You're welcome to view and share, but please don't copy, reuse or republish without our written permission.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
