Delivery & Returns
We pack and dispatch from our premises in Exeter. Every parcel is tracked end to end, so you always know where it is.
Delivery
United Kingdom
Orders leave us within two working days, Monday to Friday. Most arrive 3–5 days after placement.
- Standard — £4.95. 3–5 working days.
- Express — £6.95. Next working day where available.
- Free standard delivery on orders over £50.
We cannot deliver to PO boxes or BFPO addresses.
International
We ship within the United Kingdom only for now. International delivery will follow — subscribe to our newsletter and we'll let you know when it opens.
Wine, spirits and age-restricted items
By law, we cannot sell alcohol to anyone under 18. Any order including wine or spirits is age-verified at checkout through AgeChecked, a UK-certified service. We ask that these parcels are received by an adult.
Order tracking
Once your parcel leaves us, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details. If nothing has arrived in your inbox within 48 hours of placing an order, please check your spam folder or email orders@madeinengland.com.
Returns
We want you to be happy with what arrives. If anything isn't right, get in touch at orders@madeinengland.com within 48 hours of delivery — include your order number and, where relevant, a photograph. We'll sort it out.
Damaged or faulty items
If a parcel is damaged in transit, send us your order number and an image. A replacement or full refund will follow at no cost to you.
Perishable and personalised items
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, food, drink, hampers and bespoke goods are exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel. In plain terms: once a perishable or personalised order has been dispatched, we cannot accept it back for change of mind. This protects food safety and keeps prices fair for everyone.

Non-perishable items
Non-perishable goods can be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unused and in their original packaging. Return postage is at the customer's cost unless the item was faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Hampers
Because each is curated and assembled to order, opened or partially consumed hampers cannot be returned.
Refunds
Once the return is received and inspected, we'll notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
How to start a return
Email orders@madeinengland.com with your order number, what you'd like to send back, the reason, and images if the item is damaged or faulty. We respond to all return enquiries within one working day.
