The London Honey Co. Pure London Honey 250g

A 250g jar of honey from hives in London itself, made by The London Honey Co. of Bermondsey in Greater London. Steve Benbow started the company in 1999 with hives on a roof near Tower Bridge, and its honeys are sold unpasteurised and minimally filtered, never blended.

This is the honey the company is named for. The producer says it comes straight from its own beehives on London rooftops and in wild urban corners, and describes it as lively and complex, with fresh citrus notes from the trees, parks and gardens of the capital. The jar contains honey and nothing else.

The producer suggests it in a bees' knees, the cocktail of gin, lemon and honey. It is just as good on hot buttered crumpets or over plain yoghurt, and it holds its own on a cheeseboard beside Oxford Blue or a piece of Wookey Hole Cave Aged Cheddar. 250g glass jar. No major allergens declared. Raw honey can crystallise; stand the jar in warm water to loosen it. Not suitable for babies under twelve months, as with all honey.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the affected item. Please keep all packaging until we've reviewed the issue.
