The Lakes Distillery

The Lakes Distillery occupies a Victorian dairy farm in the Lake District National Park that had stood derelict for over 20 years before founder Paul Currie took it on. The buildings were renovated with Cumbrian slate and stone. The single malt is matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks, most of them made to the distillery's own specification.
