Bright, golden, with the complexity of a summer meadow: hedgerows tangled with brambles and honeysuckle, broad beans in bloom.
A 250g jar of single-origin British Cotswold honey, produced by The London Honey Co. from hives kept in the grasslands where the upper Thames meadows meet the hills.
Raw, unpasteurised and minimally filtered, with nothing added and nothing heated away, from a company Soil Association accredited and a member of Slow Food UK.
Spoon onto warm oats or yoghurt, drizzle over roasted figs with ricotta, or stir into a dressing with lemon and olive oil.
Honey that still tastes of where it came from.
