Stokes Bramley Apple Sauce 265g

Stokes use 51% Bramley apples in this sauce made at the Old Stable in Rendlesham, Suffolk - the variety that English cooks have always chosen for cooking because the Bramley's sharp, high-acid character produces a sauce with presence rather than just sweetness. A splash of British dry cider adds a gentle fermented depth that makes this more interesting than the plain apple sauce most people grow up eating.

The sauce that belongs next to roast pork, which is its traditional context and the one where it performs best. Also excellent poured over good vanilla ice cream in a combination that is underrated and entirely worth trying.

Delivery

Because we send food and drink, we keep transit times short and never let parcels sit in depots over the weekend. All orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday and delivered next day via DPD or APC Overnight, depending on contents.

Non-liquid orders travel with DPD and include a one-hour delivery window, so you know exactly when to expect your parcel. Orders containing wine, spirits or other liquids are sent via APC Overnight's specialist liquid service, where parcels are hand-sorted and kept in dedicated cages throughout transit.

Order by 12pm (midday) for next-day delivery. Orders placed after midday on Thursday, or over the weekend, are dispatched the following Monday. We do not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays.

Standard delivery is £4.95, free on orders over £50.

Returns

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and affected item as received.

Please keep all packaging until we have reviewed the issue, as we may be unable to assess damage claims where the item or packaging has been discarded.
