Stokes make their mint sauce in Rendlesham, Suffolk with 16% real mint - a proportion that means this tastes of the herb rather than of the colour green. Combined with white wine vinegar and unrefined raw cane sugar, it has the balance between sharpness, sweetness and genuine mint flavour that most mint sauces approximate but few achieve.

The difference from the supermarket default is immediately apparent alongside lamb - the mint is present and fragrant, and the vinegar is sharp enough to cut through the richness of the meat without becoming aggressive.

Delivery

Because we send food and drink, we keep transit times short and never let parcels sit in depots over the weekend. All orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday and delivered next day via DPD or APC Overnight, depending on contents.

Non-liquid orders travel with DPD and include a one-hour delivery window, so you know exactly when to expect your parcel. Orders containing wine, spirits or other liquids are sent via APC Overnight's specialist liquid service, where parcels are hand-sorted and kept in dedicated cages throughout transit.

Order by 12pm (midday) for next-day delivery. Orders placed after midday on Thursday, or over the weekend, are dispatched the following Monday. We do not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays.

Standard delivery is £6.95, free on orders over £60.

Returns

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and affected item as received.

Please keep all packaging until we have reviewed the issue, as we may be unable to assess damage claims where the item or packaging has been discarded.
