Rosary Natural Goat's Cheese Drum 100g

A 100g drum of fresh, soft goat's cheese with no coating and no added flavour. Rosary make it at their family dairy in Landford, Wiltshire, behind the family home on the edge of the New Forest, from pasteurised goat's milk (98.6%) with salt, starter culture and vegetarian rennet.

The producer's fresh cheeses are described as having a fresh taste and natural tang with a melt-in-the-mouth, mousse-like texture, and the plain drum shows that most clearly. It is white right through, gently lemony, only lightly goaty, and soft enough to spread. The small format means you eat it fresh and young, which is how it is meant to be.

One drum is enough for a starter for two or a cheese course for one. Spread it on Peter's Yard Original Sourdough Crackers with a spoon of Single Variety Co. Lemon Drop Chilli Jam, crumble it over a beetroot salad, or warm a slice on toast and put it on top of a bowl of roasted tomato soup. A glass of Chapel Down English Rosé Sparkling Wine goes with it.

We send food and drink, so parcels never wait in depots over the weekend. Order by midday, Monday to Thursday, for next-day delivery: DPD with a one-hour window for most orders, APC Overnight's specialist liquid service for anything containing wine, spirits or other liquids. Orders after midday Thursday, or over the weekend, dispatch on Monday.

Cheese is cut fresh to order and sent chilled, dispatched every Monday and Wednesday. Everything in your order ships together in one insulated box, arriving the next day.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the affected item. Please keep all packaging until we've reviewed the issue.
