Chapel Down English Rosé Sparkling Wine

A pale pink English sparkling rosé from Kent, made by one of the country's largest and longest-running wine producers.

A 750ml bottle of traditional-method English sparkling wine, made by Chapel Down at their winery in Tenterden, Kent, the heart of what's still called the Garden of England. The grapes are sourced from a network of Chapel Down's contracted vineyards across Kent, Sussex, Essex and Dorset, on chalk, clay and loam soils that mirror the conditions of northern France.

The blend is more layered than most English rosés, comprising Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Blanc and Early Pinot Noir. Made by the same traditional method used in Champagne: white and red wines fermented separately, then assembled into the final cuvée before secondary fermentation in bottle.

Pale rose petal pink in the glass. Fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose: lemon sherbet, freshly baked bread, a lift of wild strawberry. On the palate: redcurrant, blackcurrant, rosehip, light biscuit. The finish is crisp, dry and refreshing, built for summer drinking, but rewarding year-round.

Bottled at 12% ABV. Suitable for vegans.

For an aperitif before lunch. With a summer fruit pudding. Alongside a cheeseboard, smoked salmon, or simply a sunny afternoon.

Delivery

Because we send food and drink, we keep transit times short and never let parcels sit in depots over the weekend. All orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday and delivered next day via DPD or APC Overnight, depending on contents.

Non-liquid orders travel with DPD and include a one-hour delivery window, so you know exactly when to expect your parcel. Orders containing wine, spirits or other liquids are sent via APC Overnight's specialist liquid service, where parcels are hand-sorted and kept in dedicated cages throughout transit.

Order by 12pm (midday) for next-day delivery. Orders placed after midday on Thursday, or over the weekend, are dispatched the following Monday. We do not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays.

Standard delivery is £4.95, free on orders over £50.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and affected item as received.

Please keep all packaging until we have reviewed the issue, as we may be unable to assess damage claims where the item or packaging has been discarded.
