Quiggin's Chocolate Covered Kendal Mint Cake

Quiggin's have been making Kendal Mint Cake in Cumbria since 1840, which makes them one of the oldest confectionery producers in England still making the same product in the same place. The original energy food of English mountaineers, Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay carried it to the summit of Everest in 1953, it has since found a wider audience who appreciate it for rather less demanding reasons.

The chocolate covered version encases Quiggin's distinctive peppermint sugar bar in a layer of chocolate that softens the intensity slightly while adding a richness that works well alongside the clean, sharp mint.

English-made in Kendal, Cumbria, by a producer who has been getting this right for over 180 years. Vegetarian and a genuine piece of English food heritage.

Delivery

We send food and drink, so parcels never wait in depots over the weekend. Order by midday, Monday to Thursday, for next-day delivery: DPD with a one-hour window for most orders, APC Overnight's specialist liquid service for anything containing wine, spirits or other liquids. Orders after midday Thursday, or over the weekend, dispatch on Monday.

Cheese is cut fresh to order and sent chilled, dispatched every Monday and Wednesday. Everything in your order ships together in one insulated box, arriving the next day.
