Barney Jack's Mint Humbugs

Mint Humbugs are striped, hard-boiled mint sweets in a 195g bag. Barney Jack's, who make them in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, set out to bring back the sweet shop favourites of the past, and describe these as a refreshing sweet with the nostalgic taste of the nation's classic sweet shops.

The ingredients are glucose, sugar, vegetable oil, sweetened condensed milk, salt, flavours, soya lecithin and a caramel colour. The condensed milk is what gives a humbug its softer, chewy middle inside the hard shell, and the mint flavouring does the rest. Suck them and they last; bite them and you get to the chew sooner. Either way the mint is clean rather than fierce.

They are a car sweet, a desk-drawer sweet and a stocking filler. If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the affected item. Please keep all packaging until we've reviewed the issue.
