West Country Legends make these sweet straws in Glastonbury, Somerset, a format that sits somewhere between a pastry and a confection and does both jobs better than you expect. The apple and cinnamon filling is warm and fragrant, the pastry exterior is crisp and light, and the overall result is an unusual sweet that earns its place on a cheese board, alongside afternoon tea or as something to eat while deciding what to eat next.

The combination of apple and cinnamon is one of England's oldest and most reliable flavour pairings, applied here to a format that most producers have not thought to try.

English-made in Somerset, vegetarian. From a West Country producer who has understood that innovation in English confectionery does not require abandoning the flavour combinations that have always worked.

Delivery

Because we send food and drink, we keep transit times short and never let parcels sit in depots over the weekend. All orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday and delivered next day via DPD or APC Overnight, depending on contents.

Non-liquid orders travel with DPD and include a one-hour delivery window, so you know exactly when to expect your parcel. Orders containing wine, spirits or other liquids are sent via APC Overnight's specialist liquid service, where parcels are hand-sorted and kept in dedicated cages throughout transit.

Order by 12pm (midday) for next-day delivery. Orders placed after midday on Thursday, or over the weekend, are dispatched the following Monday. We do not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays.

Standard delivery is £4.95, free on orders over £50.

Returns

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and affected item as received.

Please keep all packaging until we have reviewed the issue, as we may be unable to assess damage claims where the item or packaging has been discarded.
