Shorrocks

The Shorrock family has made Lancashire cheese at Goosnargh, near Preston, since 1923. Andrew Shorrock made the first Lancashire Bomb as a leaving present for a friend who was moving to America. The cheese is matured for at least two years, and each bomb is wrapped in muslin and dipped in black wax.
