Warner's London Dry Gin

A London dry gin distilled by Warner's at Falls Farm in Harrington, Northamptonshire, where Tom and Tina Warner and their team grow several of the botanicals themselves and cut the spirit with the farm's own spring water. It is the plainest gin in their range, and the one built for a gin and tonic.

The botanicals are juniper, coriander, elderflower, cinnamon, almond and nutmeg, plus angelica root, lavender and lemon verbena grown on the farm, and lemon peel rescued from citrus that would otherwise have gone to landfill. The maker's notes: bold juniper with lemon verbena and peppery angelica on the nose; zesty lemon that lingers on the palate, revealing floral and earthy undertones; and a gentle, spicy finish from the coriander, cinnamon and angelica. Bottled at 40%.

The maker's own serve is simple: pour over a glass full of ice and top with Indian tonic. Fentimans Connoisseurs Tonic Water does the job, with a strip of lemon peel. It also makes a proper martini and a gimlet, and holds up in a negroni. A bowl of Mr Filbert's Salt Crust Peanuts alongside is the right sort of company.

We send food and drink, so parcels never wait in depots over the weekend. Order by midday, Monday to Thursday, for next-day delivery: DPD with a one-hour window for most orders, APC Overnight's specialist liquid service for anything containing wine, spirits or other liquids. Orders after midday Thursday, or over the weekend, dispatch on Monday.

Cheese is cut fresh to order and sent chilled, dispatched every Monday and Wednesday. Everything in your order ships together in one insulated box, arriving the next day.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the affected item. Please keep all packaging until we've reviewed the issue.
