The One Fine Blended Whisky Miniature Collection

Three 5cl bottles of The One, the blended whisky built around the single malt made by The Lakes Distillery at Setmurthy near Cockermouth in Cumbria: the Fine Blend, the Port Cask Finished and the Sherry Cask Finished, in a branded gift box.

The distillery describes The One as a blend of Scotch grain and malt whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay with The Lakes Single Malt at its heart, each release finished in oak casks, non-chill filtered for a richer mouthfeel and with only the natural colour from the wood. All three are bottled at 46.6%. The Fine Blend gives orchard fruit, butterscotch and a hint of smoke, with vanilla custard and honeyed fruit on the palate. The Port Cask spends a year in first-fill tawny port casks and shows stone fruit, ripe cherries, plums and wood smoke. The Sherry Cask, finished in oloroso and PX casks, brings peat smoke, treacle toffee and dried fruits, then dark chocolate and orange oil.

The distillery suggests The One neat, on the rocks, with a splash of water, or lengthened in a chilled highball. Taste the three side by side to see what a cask finish does. We send food and drink, so parcels never wait in depots over the weekend. Orders after midday Thursday, or over the weekend, dispatch on Monday.

Cheese is cut fresh to order and sent chilled, dispatched every Monday and Wednesday. Everything in your order ships together in one insulated box, arriving the next day.
