Summerdown Mild & Calming Camomile Tea

A box of 15 pyramid tea bags holding whole camomile flower heads. Summerdown Farm grow the camomile themselves near Basingstoke, Hampshire, and have done for more than twenty years, packing the dried flowerheads into the bags rather than dust.

There is nothing in the bag but the camomile itself, no blending and no flavouring. The producer describes it as gentle and beautifully floral, and calls the cup pure and intense, wild and windswept. In practice that is a pale gold tea with a soft hay-and-apple scent and no bitterness, provided it is not brewed too long. It is naturally free from caffeine, and the bags are plastic free.

Summerdown suggest it right after dinner, and it is the obvious choice for the last cup of the day. Brew one bag for four or five minutes and drink it plain, or add a teaspoon of The London Honey Co. Delivery

We send food and drink, so parcels never wait in depots over the weekend. Order by midday, Monday to Thursday, for next-day delivery: DPD with a one-hour window for most orders, APC Overnight's specialist liquid service for anything containing wine, spirits or other liquids. Orders after midday Thursday, or over the weekend, dispatch on Monday.

Cheese is cut fresh to order and sent chilled, dispatched every Monday and Wednesday. Everything in your order ships together in one insulated box, arriving the next day.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the affected item. Please keep all packaging until we've reviewed the issue.
