Mr Filbert's Classic Salt & Pepper Mixed Nuts Tin 70g

Oven roasted peanuts, cashews and almonds tumbled in sea salt and cracked black pepper, in a small reusable tin from Mr Filbert's, who have roasted nuts in small batches in Glastonbury, Somerset, since 2010.

The tin is 95% nuts: half peanuts, a quarter cashews and the rest almonds, with 2.4% sea salt and 0.6% pepper held on with a thin glaze of acacia gum and glucose. It is the plainest flavour in the range and the one that goes with everything, the pepper giving a slow warmth rather than heat. The 70g tin is a single sitting with a drink, and the tin itself is the kind that ends up holding paperclips.
