Tregothnan Peppermint Loose Leaf Tea Pyramids

A clean, sharp peppermint — the kind that rinses the palate and clears the head. Made from whole peppermint leaves, blended and packed at Tregothnan in Tresillian, Cornwall.

Peppermint (Mentha × piperita) is one of the great post-meal infusions — bright, slightly cooling, with the kind of menthol lift that settles a heavy stomach. The leaves are used cut rather than powdered, which brews a cleaner cup and lets the menthol come through without bitterness.

The pyramids are biodegradable, made from cornstarch — plastic-free.

Brew with freshly boiled water for four to five minutes. No milk, no sugar — peppermint is best left alone. Excellent after dinner, and equally good iced on a hot afternoon. Long associated with digestion, freshening the breath, and easing the head.
