Tregothnan English Breakfast Loose Leaf Tea Pyramids

Sale price£10.00

Cornwall has grown its own tea since 1999, in a hidden Camellia garden seven miles inland from the south coast.

A black tea blend of English-grown leaves and Assam, made in Tresillian, Cornwall by Tregothnan — England's pioneering tea estate, tended by the same family since 1334.

The blend draws on 38 varieties of Camellia sinensis cultivated at Tregothnan, gifted by tea growers in Vietnam, India, Malaysia and China when the estate began its English tea project. Fifteen biodegradable silken pyramids, made from cornstarch — plastic-free.

Brew with freshly boiled water, just off the boil, for three to four minutes. Take with milk and sweetened to taste.

England's first tea, still grown and blended by the family who started it.
