Drivers Chunky Piccalilli

Drivers have been making preserves in Leicestershire since 1906, which gives them over a century of experience in a condiment tradition that rewards patience and proper technique. Their chunky piccalilli keeps the vegetables in recognisable pieces rather than processing them into a uniform paste.

The texture matters here. Good piccalilli should offer resistance, provide contrast against richer foods and hold its character rather than collapsing into a sauce. This does all of those things. It works on a cheese board, with cold cuts, alongside a pork pie or as part of a proper ploughman's.

Delivery

Because we send food and drink, we keep transit times short and never let parcels sit in depots over the weekend. All orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday and delivered next day via DPD or APC Overnight, depending on contents.

Non-liquid orders travel with DPD and include a one-hour delivery window, so you know exactly when to expect your parcel. Orders containing wine, spirits or other liquids are sent via APC Overnight's specialist liquid service, where parcels are hand-sorted and kept in dedicated cages throughout transit.

Order by 12pm (midday) for next-day delivery. Orders placed after midday on Thursday, or over the weekend, are dispatched the following Monday. We do not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays.

Standard delivery is £4.95, free on orders over £50.

Returns

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and affected item as received.

Please keep all packaging until we have reviewed the issue, as we may be unable to assess damage claims where the item or packaging has been discarded.
