Mrs Darlington's add lime to their lemon curd at their Skipton production kitchen, creating something that sits between classic English lemon curd and something with a slightly more tropical edge. Made with whole eggs and real butter, as all proper curd should be, with the lime adding a sharpness and a fragrance that the lemon alone cannot quite replicate.

The balance between the two citrus fruits is careful, neither overwhelms the other, and the result is a curd with more complexity than the single-fruit version while remaining recognisable as a proper English preserve.

English-made in Skipton, North Yorkshire. Vegetarian. From a Yorkshire producer with a long track record in quality preserves. 320g.

Delivery

Because we send food and drink, we keep transit times short and never let parcels sit in depots over the weekend. All orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday and delivered next day via DPD or APC Overnight, depending on contents.

Non-liquid orders travel with DPD and include a one-hour delivery window, so you know exactly when to expect your parcel. Orders containing wine, spirits or other liquids are sent via APC Overnight's specialist liquid service, where parcels are hand-sorted and kept in dedicated cages throughout transit.

Order by 12pm (midday) for next-day delivery. Orders placed after midday on Thursday, or over the weekend, are dispatched the following Monday. We do not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays.

Standard delivery is £6.95, free on orders over £60.

Returns

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and affected item as received.

Please keep all packaging until we have reviewed the issue, as we may be unable to assess damage claims where the item or packaging has been discarded.
