CHOCOCO Heavenly Honeycombe Milk Chocolate Bar

Heavenly Honeycombe is a 75g bar of 47% milk chocolate studded with honeycombe pieces, made by Chococo in their chocolate kitchen at Holton Heath near Poole in Dorset, where Andy and Claire Burnet have made chocolate by hand since December 2002. The honeycombe is made in that kitchen with Dorset honey.

The bar is 80% Colombia-origin milk chocolate, made exclusively for them at 47% minimum cocoa solids and 23% milk solids, which the maker describes as rich and creamy. The other 20% is honeycombe: sugar, glucose syrup, Dorset honey and bicarbonate of soda, broken into crunchy pieces through the bar. The maker calls it one of their favourite flavour combinations, the deeper milk chocolate keeping the sweetness of the honeycombe in check.

Eat it as it is with a cup of tea, or break it over vanilla ice cream where the honeycombe stays crisp for a minute or two. It sits well in a chocolate gift alongside the Marvellous Milk 47% Milk Chocolate Bar and the Glorious Ginger 72% Dark Chocolate Bar, and the rest of the range is in the confectionery collection.
