Charlie and Ivy's Bread Dipper Tasting Set

Seven 100ml bottles of bread dipping oil, one of each flavour in the range. Charlie & Ivy's make them on the Palmer family farm at Thixendale, Malton, North Yorkshire, where the presses have been running since 2008 and every bottle starts with rapeseed grown, cold-pressed and bottled on the farm.

The seven are Chilli, Garlic & Ginger; Lemon, Balsamic & Juniper Berry; Garlic, Oregano & Balsamic; Blackberry, Thyme & Balsamic; Smoked Garlic & Black Peppercorn; Rosemary, Thyme & Lemon; and White Balsamic, Tarragon & White Peppercorn. The base is the farm's own cold-pressed rapeseed oil, so expect a nutty, buttery oil under each flavour, with the balsamic bottles adding sweetness and sharpness and the chilli bottle bringing warmth.

The producer's advice is simple: pour into a bowl and tear some crusty bread to dip. Beyond that, they suggest drizzling the oils over salads, pasta or pizza and cooking with them. Set the seven out with Peter's Yard Original Sourdough Crackers and a wedge of Quicke's Mature Clothbound Cheddar for a tasting evening, and add a few Cornish Sea Salt Crystals to the bread.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the affected item. Please keep all packaging until we've reviewed the issue.
