A 200g tin of chocolate biscuits with white, milk and dark chocolate, baked by Cartwright & Butler, the Arnett family's bakery at Gilberdyke in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The baker calls it a classic chocolate chip cookie recipe taken to a whole new level, with a trio of white, milk and plain chocolate. The dough is made with cocoa powder (5%) and 21% salted butter, and carries 8% white chocolate chips, 8% dark chocolate, 5% milk chocolate chunks and 5% dark chocolate chips. The dark chocolate has a minimum of 55% cocoa solids.
Have them with a cold glass of milk, or with a coffee strong enough to stand up to the chocolate, such as Cornish Coffee Stupidly Strong. For one chocolate instead of three, see the same bakery's Milk Chocolate Chunk Biscuits.
200g of biscuits in a tin with a Kilner-style resealable lid. Contains wheat (gluten), milk and soya. May contain eggs, peanuts, nuts, mustard and sesame seeds. Once opened, store in a cool, dry place and eat within two weeks.
