A 150g gold Christmas tin of shortbread with milk chocolate chunks and orange pieces, from Cartwright & Butler, the Arnett family firm based at Gilberdyke in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The maker describes the shortbreads as generously filled with milk chocolate chunks and zesty orange pieces, and presents them in a festive gold striped tin decorated with stars. Salted butter is 30% of the recipe, milk chocolate chunks 7% and orange pieces 6%, with natural orange flavouring. The orange pieces are a fruit preparation made from apple purée and orange juice.
A tin for the Christmas table once the pudding has gone, with a pot of Cornish Coffee The Original. At teatime, the bergamot in Tregothnan Earl Grey picks up the orange.
