Belvoir Blueberry & Blackcurrant Cordial 500ml

A 500ml bottle of blueberry and blackcurrant cordial made by Belvoir on their family farm in Bottesford, Leicestershire, from a blend of real fruit juices with nothing artificial and no sweeteners.

Blueberry juice at 10%, blackcurrant juice at 9% and a further 7% blueberry juice from concentrate go in with sugar, water and citric acid. The farm describes it as packed full of the rich taste of berries, and it is: deep purple in the glass, with the blackcurrant giving the sharpness and the blueberry rounding it off. Turn the bottle gently before opening, as the juices settle. Dilute one part to ten.

Diluted with still water it is a good berry squash; with sparkling water and ice it is the drink to put out at a summer lunch. Belvoir have recipes for a mule and a Manhattan with it, and a measure in The One Fine Blended Whisky with a dash of bitters is worth trying. Away from the bar, stir a spoonful into a bowl of overnight oats made with Wilton Porridge Oats, or use it as a syrup over pancakes.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the affected item. Please keep all packaging until we've reviewed the issue.
