Mr Trotter's was started in 2011 by Tom Parker Bowles, Matthew Fort and Rupert Ponsonby, who wanted a pork scratching worth putting next to a decent pint. The crackling is triple cooked in Rugeley, Staffordshire, so it comes out light and crisp rather than a jaw breaker, and the chestnut ale is brewed to go with it. The gift boxes and canisters here are the easy answer for anyone who says they do not want anything for Christmas.
