Aspall

In 1728 Clement Chevallier founded Aspall in the Suffolk parish of that name, near Debenham, and planted the county's first large-scale cyder orchards. Aspall Hall has been home to the Chevallier family for nine generations, and cyder and cyder vinegar are still made at the original Cyder House. Vinegar has been part of the business for more than 50 years.
