Tiptree Four Special Preserves Gift Pack holds four 42g jars from Wilkin & Sons, made on their estate at Tiptree in Essex, where the family has made preserves since 1885 with fruit from its own farm. The producer describes it as a popular gift pack of four miniature speciality preserves.

The four are Apricot with Armagnac, Strawberry with Champagne, Raspberry with Cassis, and a fine cut Orange with Malt Whisky marmalade. Each has its spirit or wine at 4%, alongside sugar, the fruit, and citrus pectin or citric acid. The Armagnac gives the apricot a brandy warmth, the Champagne lightens the strawberry, the cassis deepens the raspberry with blackcurrant, and the malt whisky adds a smoky edge to the Seville orange.

Four small jars are a useful thing to have. They go into a hamper or a stocking, sit on a breakfast tray for a guest, or let you try the range before committing to a full jar. Serve them with warm scones and cream, or set them out for afternoon tea with Farmhouse Biscuits Shortbread Rings and a pot of Tregothnan Earl Grey Tea.

Cheese is cut fresh to order and sent chilled, dispatched every Monday and Wednesday. Everything in your order ships together in one insulated box, arriving the next day.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the affected item. Please keep all packaging until we've reviewed the issue.
