The Natural Spa Spiced Orange Bath Soak 300g

A 300g tin of bath salts with avocado oil and sweet orange and anise essential oils, made by The Natural Spa in East Devon.

The base is Epsom salts and bicarbonate of soda, with avocado oil to leave skin feeling soft. The scent is warm and wintry: orange first, then the sweet, slightly liquorice note of anise. There are no preservatives, parabens, SLS or palm oil.

Sprinkle a generous handful under the running tap, let it dissolve, then sit back and soak. The aluminium tin can be used again and the packaging is plastic-free, so it makes a tidy present. Put it with the Spiced Orange Bath Bombs for a matching set, or with the Lavender Verbena Soap Bar for someone who needs an early night.

The Natural Spa was started in 2016 by Zoe Strassen, then 18 and fresh from a chef apprenticeship, in a shed at the bottom of her parents' garden. It now works from a small workshop at Woodbury Salterton in East Devon, making everything by hand in small batches.

Ingredients (INCI): Magnesium Sulfate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Sweet Orange) Peel Oil Expressed, Pimpinella Anisum (Anise) Oil, Linalool, Limonene, Citral.
