The Natural Spa Pure Unscented Lip Balm 15g

A 15g tin of unscented lip balm, made by The Natural Spa in East Devon from six plant ingredients and nothing else.

Pure is the plainest balm in the range: shea butter, cocoa butter, sunflower wax, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil and vitamin E. There is no fragrance and no essential oil, which makes it the one to choose for sensitive lips, for anyone who dislikes scented products, or for use under lipstick. Sunflower wax sets it in place of beeswax.

It is hydrating, sinks in quickly and lasts well. The tin is aluminium, with no plastic anywhere in the packaging, and fits in a coat pocket. If you would like a scent after all, the Peppermint and Cucumber & Lime balms are made on the same base.

The Natural Spa was started in 2016 by Zoe Strassen, then 18 and fresh from a chef apprenticeship, in a shed at the bottom of her parents' garden. It now works from a small workshop at Woodbury Salterton in East Devon, making everything by hand in small batches.
