Popcorn Kitchen Sweet and Salt Popcorn Giant Money Bottle 550g

A 51cm tall bottle of hand popped sweet and salt popcorn from Popcorn Kitchen, who began on the Surrey food festival circuit in 2012 with a mobile kettle and now pop in small batches from their base in Woking. When the popcorn is finished the lid has a coin slot, so the bottle turns into a money box.

There are four ingredients: popped corn, sugar, sunflower oil and salt. Popcorn Kitchen use mushroom corn, the variety that pops into big round pieces rather than the butterfly shape, and the sweet and salt coating is the recipe that first got the company asked to bag its popcorn. It is light, crunchy and goes quickly, which is the reason for the giant size.

It makes a good present for a child, a student or an office, and it is a sensible thing to put on the table on Christmas Eve while the film is on. For people who would rather pop their own, the Popcorn Shed Movie Night Kit is the alternative.
