The Cornish Seaweed Company Organic Sea Salad Flakes

A vibrant blend of three Cornish sea vegetables — purple dulse, dark nori, and bright green sea greens — hand-harvested from the rocks of the Atlantic coast and dried into a confetti of flakes.

A 25g pouch of organic mixed seaweed flakes, made by The Cornish Seaweed Company in Cornwall. Co-founded in 2012 by Tim van Berkel and Caro Warwick-Evans, who started by free-diving for seaweed off the Lizard Peninsula and built Britain's first commercial seaweed harvesting business. Soil Association certified organic.

The flavour is layered. Dulse brings sweet umami and a faint smoke. Nori brings the rounded sea-flavour familiar from sushi. The sea greens bring a fresh, grassy lift. Together, the result tastes more of the sea than the sum of its parts — and looks beautiful on the plate.

For sprinkling onto salads, eggs, fish, pasta, soups, risotto, or buttered toast. A heaped teaspoon brightens a dish without dominating it. A natural seasoning that does the job of salt while delivering iron, iodine, calcium, magnesium and vitamin B12 in the bargain.
