Gusto Organic Real Cherry Cola

An organic cherry cola made with real cherry juice, from Gusto Organic in East Sussex, who build their colas on spring water, kola nut and agave rather than a flavour concentrate and syrup. The maker calls it a naughty secret, and it tastes of cherries before it tastes of cola.

Spring water first, then 11% organic agave nectar, 8% organic cherry juice from concentrate, 2% Sicilian lemon juice, caramel from burnt sugar, kola nut extract and organic vanilla. Essential oils of lemon, orange, lime, neroli, cinnamon and coriander give the cola character. The maker describes a sharp, sweet blast of cherry balanced with Madagascan vanilla, with the lemon juice doing the job that phosphoric acid does in a conventional cola. It is drier and fruitier than a cherry-flavoured cola from a can, and the kola nut brings a little natural caffeine.

Serve it cold, straight from the bottle or over ice with a slice of lemon. It is good with a burger or a plate of ribs, and it makes a cherry rum and cola that needs no other flavouring. If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the affected item. Please keep all packaging until we've reviewed the issue.
