GNAW Gingerbread Milk Chocolate Bar 80g

Milk chocolate with crunchy biscuit, caramel pieces and ginger, made by GNAW in Norwich, Norfolk. It tastes like a gingerbread biscuit dunked in hot chocolate.

A tenth of the bar is broken digestive biscuit, which gives every square a bit of crunch, and the small pieces of butter caramel add a toffee note. The ginger is gentle and warming rather than hot. Underneath is GNAW's milk chocolate, made with Colombian cocoa and without palm oil.

It is a bar for cold afternoons with a mug of tea, or for stockings and Secret Santa. Pair it with the Christmas Pudding bar from the same maker, or with a pot of Pump Street West Papua Drinking Chocolate for someone who likes their chocolate in every form.

GNAW was started by Matt and Teri Legon, former sweet shop owners, and now makes its chocolate in a Norwich factory with solar panels on the roof. The wrapper is paper and foil that can go in a home compost bin.
