GNAW Christmas Pudding Milk Chocolate Bar 80g

A Christmas bar from GNAW in Norwich, Norfolk: milk chocolate with almonds, chewy date pieces and spiced biscuit crumb, flavoured to taste like a slice of Christmas pudding.

The dates do the job the dried fruit does in a pudding, giving each square a soft, sticky bite, while the almonds and the cinnamon biscuit crumb add crunch and warmth. There is a little Christmas pudding flavouring on top of the vanilla. It is sweeter and fruitier than a plain bar, without being heavy. The milk chocolate is made with Colombian cocoa and no palm oil.

Put one in each stocking, add it to a hamper, or break it up on a plate with the coffee on Christmas Day. It sits well alongside the GNAW Gingerbread bar, and for something richer the Chocolarder Christmas Selection Box has twelve filled chocolates from Cornwall.

GNAW makes its chocolate in a factory with 672 solar panels on the roof, and the bars come in paper and foil that can go in a home compost bin.
