Popcorn Shed began in a garden shed in London and still runs from what the two cousins who founded it call Shedquarters, in Palmers Green. The kits and seasonings here are for people who like to pop their own: a pan of plain kernels, then shakers of salt, caramel or sweet chilli passed round the sofa. Vegan, gluten free and handmade in England, they make a family present that gets used on the first wet afternoon rather than put away in a cupboard.
