Chocolarder Panettone 50% Milk Chocolate

A seasonal milk chocolate bar from Chocolarder at Falmouth in Cornwall, with crumbs of panettone running through 50% milk chocolate made from Öko Caribe cocoa in the Dominican Republic.

Panettone makes up 13% of the bar, and it brings its own ingredients with it: wheat flour, butter, orange peel, honey and mixed spice. A further 2% is orange peel chocolate, which lifts the citrus. The result tastes like the Italian Christmas cake rather than a chocolate bar with a flavouring added, and the 50% milk chocolate is sweet enough to carry it without tipping over.

A Christmas bar, straightforwardly. It works in a seasonal hamper with the rest of the confectionery collection.

Ingredients: Cocoa beans, unrefined sugar, whole MILK powder, panettone 13% (WHEAT flour, butter (MILK), orange peel, cocoa butter, honey, MALT BARLEY, salt, mixed spice), orange peel chocolate 2% (cocoa butter, orange peel, unrefined sugar). Allergens: milk, wheat, barley. Made in a factory that handles milk and tree nuts. Keep somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight.
