Description

This is a box of sixteen fresh chocolates and truffles, each one decorated by hand. Chococo make them in their own kitchen in Swanage, Dorset, where Claire and Andy Burnet started the business in 2002 and paint the shells with natural colours using brushes and, they say, toothbrushes.

The selection changes with the seasons. Recent boxes have included Dorset Sea Salt Caramel, Cocoa Fruit Caramel, Blackcurrant Beauty, Lemon Zing, Cherry Bakewell, Purely Pistachio, Nutty Nutmeg and a Melting Milk Truffle. The shells are single origin chocolate from Colombia and Ecuador, and the fillings use Dorset fresh cream, Dorset honey, fruit purees, nuts, an Earl Grey tea infusion and a little kirsch. The producer says there are no additives or preservatives, which is why they ask you to eat them quickly.

Open the box after dinner with coffee, or with a glass of Nyetimber Classic Cuvee. It makes a good present on its own, or the centrepiece of a box from the food gifts collection alongside a Marvellous Milk bar for later.

Sixteen chocolates in a rigid cardboard box; all packaging is plastic-free and recyclable or compostable. The box contains milk, soya, egg, hazelnuts, almonds and pistachio, and the exact contents vary. Keep it cool and eat within the date on the box.

Delivery

We send food and drink, so parcels never wait in depots over the weekend. Order by midday, Monday to Thursday, for next-day delivery: DPD with a one-hour window for most orders, APC Overnight's specialist liquid service for anything containing wine, spirits or other liquids. Orders after midday Thursday, or over the weekend, dispatch on Monday.

Cheese is cut fresh to order and sent chilled, dispatched every Monday and Wednesday. Everything in your order ships together in one insulated box, arriving the next day.

Returns

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the affected item. Please keep all packaging until we've reviewed the issue.
