Chococo Triple Chocolate 47% Milk Chocolate Bar

Triple Chocolate is a 75g bar of 47% Colombia origin milk chocolate studded with chips of white and dark chocolate, all three from Colombian cocoa. Chococo make it in Swanage, Dorset, where Claire and Andy Burnet have made chocolate since December 2002 and insist on making everything themselves.

Milk chocolate makes up 80% of the bar and is the producer's signature blend, a 2023 Gold Great Taste Award winner they describe as rich and creamy. Through it run 13.3% white chocolate, which the producer calls aromatic, and 6.7% 58% dark chocolate, which they call mellow. So one square gives you a sweet vanilla note, a slightly bitter one and a creamy middle holding it together.

It is the easy choice when you do not know whether someone prefers milk, white or dark. Add it to a hamper with Quiggin's Chocolate Covered Kendal Mint Cake for a sweet tooth, or put it out after supper with a pot of coffee. Children like it broken into small squares for a lunchbox treat.

The bar weighs 75g in a paper pouch inside a cardboard box, with no plastic. It contains milk and soya, and may contain traces of gluten and tree nuts. The producer lists it as suitable for vegetarians. Keep it cool and dry.
