Charbonnel et Walker have made chocolates in London since 1875, when Mrs Charbonnel came over from Paris to open a shop on Bond Street at the Prince of Wales's suggestion. They have held a Royal Warrant for generations.

These are their best-known truffles: a soft milk chocolate centre folded through with Marc de Champagne, rolled and dusted a pale rose pink.

Light, buttery and just boozy enough. They come in the round signature box that has barely changed in decades, as much a gift as a chocolate. Net weight 135g.

Delivery

Because we send food and drink, we keep transit times short and never let parcels sit in depots over the weekend. All orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday and delivered next day via DPD or APC Overnight, depending on contents.

Non-liquid orders travel with DPD and include a one-hour delivery window, so you know exactly when to expect your parcel. Orders containing wine, spirits or other liquids are sent via APC Overnight's specialist liquid service, where parcels are hand-sorted and kept in dedicated cages throughout transit.

Order by 12pm (midday) for next-day delivery. Orders placed after midday on Thursday, or over the weekend, are dispatched the following Monday. We do not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays.

Standard delivery is £6.95, free on orders over £60.

Returns

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and affected item as received.

Please keep all packaging until we have reviewed the issue, as we may be unable to assess damage claims where the item or packaging has been discarded.
