Buttermilk Crunchy Peanut Brittle 150g

A 150g pack of crunchy peanut brittle from Buttermilk, the confectioners who have made sweets in Cornwall since 1964. Whole roasted peanuts are set in a thin golden brittle made with salted butter, and the slabs are broken by hand.

There is nothing in it beyond sugar, peanuts, glucose syrup and salted butter, which gives a hard snap and a plain, buttery crunch.

A small gift for a stocking or a Christmas Eve box, or a sweet to put out with coffee after dinner.
