Brew Tea Co. Cinnamon Breakfast Tea

A breakfast tea with cinnamon in it, from Brew Tea Co, who blend and pack at Trafford Park in Manchester, Greater Manchester, and use rolled whole leaves in every blend rather than tea dust. The maker places it between their English Breakfast and their chai: the same strong base, with one spice rather than six.

The base is Assam and Ceylon black tea, the same pairing as the plain breakfast blend. To that they add 12% cinnamon and a little cinnamon flavour. The maker's notes are warm and rich, with punchy cinnamon and a subtle sweetness, and the line that it brings a glow to the greyest morning. It is not a sugary tea: the sweetness is the cinnamon's own, and the malty black tea underneath is still doing most of the work.

Brew for three to four minutes black, four to five with milk, in about 300ml of freshly boiled water. It takes milk well. The maker suggests it with a warm croissant; it is also right with buttered toast, a Farmhouse Biscuits Honey & Oat Biscuit, or a slice of something with apple in it. In winter it is the cup to make when you come in from the cold.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, missing an item, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and the affected item. Please keep all packaging until we've reviewed the issue.
