Charles Martell & Son

Hunts Court Farm at Dymock in Gloucestershire became home to the Martells in 1972, and Charles began by hand-milking three Old Gloucester cows. His first cheese was a Double Gloucester made from their milk. Stinking Bishop followed in 1994, and the farm now makes eight cheeses in what it calls perry pear country.
