At its heart, two genuine English growers: Tregothnan Earl Grey, from the Cornwall estate growing tea on English soil since 1999, and Summerdown's camomile, made from flowers grown on their own Hampshire farm. Alongside them, teapigs' English Breakfast — proper full-leaf tea in biodegradable temples from the Brentford blenders.

To go with the pot, Kent & Fraser's lemon butter shortbread: buttery, sharp with lemon zest, baked in their London bakery and good enough to win a Great Taste award, and gluten-free without making a fuss about it.
